Erwin McManus and Donald Miller Join Bluefish TV in Creating Small Group Bible Studies based off the Wildly Popular NOOMA Format

 Donald Miller Free Market Jesus
Who is the most important person in your church today?

Statistics would indicate that real life transformation is happening within small group Bible studies. We believe the most important person in your church is the small group leader who is sacrificing his or her time, money, and energy to genuinely lead others into a deeper relationship with Christ. You may be a small group leader yourself and understand the task at hand, but you’re often unsure of where to find quality resources to help you lead effectively.

That is why we’ve produced our first-ever small group Bible study DVDs. Similar to the NOOMA format, these individual DVDs are used to trigger discussion and Bible study in small groups. In the two-part series DVD, Free Market Jesus, best selling author, Donald Miller challenges small groups to look at how living in a commercial saturated society has shaped our view of spirituality, church, and Jesus.

In the two DVDs, Choices and Impact, Erwin McManus reveals the importance of choices and how our relationship to God is connected to our choices. In addition to Erwin’s teaching, these two DVDs include video shorts and real-life stories. In the DVDs Joseph: The Hard Life and Joshua: Be Strong and Courageous, Bluefish TV takes a modern day approach on the biblical stories of Joseph and Joshua.

The individual DVDs above can be purchased from $12.00-$29.00. To save more and stock up on these DVDs, you can purchase Bluefish TV’s Small Group Ministry Kit at BluefishTV.com, and this includes 25 free video illustrations, three copies of each DVD, and a free Bluefish TV fishing license. The individual DVDs and kit include discussion guides to help you facilitate your small groups.
For additional information on the small group individual DVDs, ministry kit or other video resources on the BluefishTV.com site, contact Bluefish TV at 972.560.5600.

What people are saying about Erwin McManus and Donald Miller:

“I love Erwin McManus, especially hearing him speak, but his writing is excellent as well. He has a great way of relating to all types of people. He really makes you think, and his stories and examples from current culture are excellent.”

- Sarah

“As a seminary professor and theologian, I find Don Miller's unorthodox manner of presenting Jesus and Christian faith surprisingly and refreshingly orthodox!”

- Paul Louis Metzger, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Christian Theology & Theology of Culture,
Multnomah Biblical Seminary

“Donald spoke to our students and they absolutely loved him. He was insightful and funny and his message was profound. He speaks from his heart; he tells the truth and makes his audience think. He is very entertaining and engaging.”

- James Bryan Smith,
Author, An Arrow Pointing to Heaven, Chaplain, Friends University

“Erwin’s insight dives into the very depths of an individual’s soul. Upon reading any text you have scripted or listening to any words you have spoken, I find myself with an uncontrollable desire to move into the epicenter of God’s will for my life. Thank you, not for your talks and books, but for living a life that validates everything you say and write.”

- Adam

“Amazing. McManus is anointed of God to call every individual to a life of passion and undying obedience to God. To hear his words is to hear a whisper from God saying, follow me.”

- Ben

“My close friends and I are doing the Chasing Daylight Group Study and I have to say this is something that has really allowed us to grow and realize that we are the people that are going to make things happen and that we have to stop looking at the game from the bench and really get going with God’s will for our life.”

- Amber

I grew up in a Christian home and never really took the time to learn and appreciate the Bible for what it is. After reading your book, God has turned on my flame for him, and I desire him. I want to know him.” - Reader

Youth Worker Journal Endorses Bluefish TV Youth Ministry Studies

Daniel Clark of the Youth Worker Journal just published a very encouraging review of some of the video illustrations in our 2008 Youth Ministry Kit. Here's what Daniel had to say in his article "Something's Fishy"

"Bluefish TV delivers. Annual fishing license gives churches access to 400 downloadable videos to aid in sharing God’s message in fresh ways. In Identity, we are confronted with the ways age, online relationships, lifestyle and fashion and honesty can influence our sense of self. I AM (the video illustration) is very provocative. Prepare to laugh when watching Mooooo!. Start discussions with a comedic approach to the topics of prayer, relationships, modern worship music, truth and lying, fragrance, horror movies and witnessing. “Mr Plays Worship Music” is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. Surviving School deals honestly with the struggles of loneliness, sex, violence, additction, education, cheating and gossip. “Don’t be a statistic” is an eye-opening look at today’s youth culture. The issues are critical and relevant; the video resources are creative and captivating. What a great resource.” Thanks for the encouragement Daniel!
