I heard a really neat story from Daniel Cooper, our Direct Sales Manager today.
For Mother’s Day weekend, Daniel, his wife and kids drove to West Texas to visit his family. On Sunday, they decided to do something spontaneous and different for a change. They turned off their GPS and decided to go wherever the road would take them.
So they took a left turn and stumbled upon a little town called Turkey, Texas. They saw a church with people walking in for the service and decided to check it out. At the beginning of the service, the preacher stood up and shared with the congregation that they were getting ready to watch a video. The video played and it was about a mom who decided to take the day off from being a mom. At the end, the Bluefish TV logo popped up.
Daniel and his family couldn’t believe it. The video illustration was Mother's Day Off, produced by Bluefish. In fact, our Director of Events, Marc McCartney played the father in the clip. Being that Daniel’s role at Bluefish is significant in leading our sales team; he was encouraged that this little church in West Texas was being impacted by Bluefish products.
I really love hearing stories like these. It’s great to know that churches across the country are being touched by the videos we produce and that God is using them to reach people where they’re at.
