Alaska Slideshow from Organic God Project with Margaret Feinberg

This morning we woke at 5:30 to kayak over to Mendenhall Glacier to begin filming on the Margaret Feinberg project. It's one of the most adventurous shoots I've ever been on. The weather this morning was clear enough to get all the shots we needed from the glacier. About noon it began to rain so we headed home.

It's been a long day for our crew and for Margaret and Leif. Tomorrow we wake up and do it all over again. Here's some of the best pictures from our video shoots in a slideshow.

Alaskan Adventure

This morning I left with part of our Bluefish TV crew to fly to Alaska. We are here to film a video-driven small group Bible study with Margaret Feinberg based on her new book Organic God. I think this is her best book yet.

In the past year we've worked with Margaret to create some short video illustrations that teachers can use in their small groups ... a 4-part series on the Life of Mary and a really creative piece on Charles Goodyear. In May we shot two additional video illustrations on Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein when we were in DC for the Leadnow and Fusion event. Those are still being edited. Come to think of it, we've done a lot of projects with Margaret in the past year ... we must like her!

Margaret and Leif picked us up at the airport and have given us a quick tour around Juneau. It's beautiful! They have been so welcoming and already done a great job of hosting our crew.

Tomorrow morning we are heading to Mendenhall Glacier to begin shooting the on-camera teaching with Margaret.

Here are two snapshots from today's scouting expedition.
